Get ready to supercharge your Mercedes 2500 Sprinter Van with the ultimate upgrade - the Currie HD60 rear axle assembly. Built for strength, durability, and off-road prowess, the HD60 axle features our heavy-duty 60-series center section, robust 3.5-inch diameter axle tubes, an Eaton electric locking differential, and upgraded 35-spline chromoly axles. Moreover, the HD60 keeps your factory Mercedes OE rear brake assemblies and wheel bolt pattern intact, so you can hold onto those sleek wheels.
The Currie HD60 low-pinion rear axle for the 2019 and newer 2500 Sprinter Vans is a direct bolt-in axle assembly with all required brackets and mounts in place. The vehicle's factory wheel bearings and brakes will be retained and installed on the new HD60 axle.
Designed and optimized using computer simulation, the HD60 is reinforced in critical areas with thicker walls and heavier webbing to deliver maximum strength, durability, and rigidity
Large 3.5 in. diameter .375 wall axle tubes (left) are more than 2x the strength of the stock tubes (right) without being overweight or sacrificing ground clearance
35-spline chromoly full-floating axles (right) are 1.5x the strength of OE factory axles
The upgraded 1350 pinion yoke provides increased strength and reliability over the failure-prone factory CV Joint
Currie heavy-duty laser cut brackets provide increased strength and maintain compatibility with stock and aftermarket suspension components
Currie rock-proof nodular iron cover protects expensive internals and adds structural support to the housing's face flange
UV Stable Satin black powder coat finish adds long-lasting protection against rust and corrosion to keep your Currie HD60 looking its best
Notes
ABS Sensors: Does not include ABS sensors; the factory sensors from the stock axle must be retained and installed on the Currie Axle
Driveshaft: The vehicle's factory driveshaft will be retained and reused with this Currie axle
Brake Components: Retains the vehicle's factory rear brake components, reuses the stock rotors and calipers from the vehicle
Wheel Bearings: Must use Mercedes OE wheel bearings designed to press onto the axle. Aftermarket wheel bearings designed to easily slip over the axle spline have a failure issue as they lack the necessary fitment and heat-treat.
Overall Width: Axle is built to match the factory width between wheel mounting surfaces
